DDI is run by industry veterans Jason and Ron Moring who bring a combined 50 years of experience in the film industry and strong values of commitment and communication to our producing partners.

Our Team

Jason Moring is the founder and President & CEO of Double Dutch International (DDI), one of the industry’s fastest rising world sales companies. A lifelong career in the film business spanning stints in retail and distribution, Jason brings an extensive and unique knowledge of the entire industry chain - from production straight through to retail.

Jason obtained degrees in both Business Marketing and Sports Management before joining Morningstar Entertainment in 2000. In 10 years with the company Jason filled a variety of senior roles including the Senior VP of Sales and Acquisitions, helping to position the company for acquisition by a publicly traded entity in 2007.

Based in Toronto, Jason oversees the day-to-day sales, acquisitions, marketing, financing and legal operations of DDI and as the senior strategic decision maker Jason has expanded the company’s portfolio to include the development and financing of new features, raising over twenty million dollars for DDI associated productions in 2015, and over thirty million in 2016. 

In addition to selling, Jason has served as an executive producer on auteur director Terence Davies’ newest film A QUIET PASSION starring Cynthia Nixon and Jennifer Ehle, the upcoming animated films ELLIOT The Littlest Reindeer and ACORNS: Operation Crackdown, and A.R.C.H.I.E. a family film starring the voice of Michael J. Fox.  In 2017 Jason will serve as producer on the upcoming films THE DOORMAN directed by Ryuhei Kitamura, and ALPINE directed by Mike Sears.

During the 2014 Toronto Film Festival Jason was awarded with the distinction as one of the top 15 executives under 35 in the Canada film industry as voted by The Hollywood Reporter, and is consistently interviewed by many of the top industry trade magazines about current industry trends and new opportunities for growth.

Jason lives in Aurora, Ontario with his wife and 3 young children.

Mark Padilla is the Senior Vice President of Sales & Acquisition here at DDI. Since having joined the company in the Spring of 2016, his responsibilities include: evaluating projects for their commercial viability and value in the global marketplace, and assisting with the company’s acquisitions, financing, and marketing strategies.

Previously, Padilla served as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Distribution at Myriad Pictures.  In addition to completing global sales for the company’s slate of pictures, Padilla also assisted with acquisition and marketing activities for both Myriad Pictures, and the company’s Canadian partner, Pacific Northwest Pictures. 

Prior to joining Myriad Pictures, Padilla was Vice President of Sales and Acquisitions for Essential Entertainment, where he oversaw the sales and acquisitions of films for both international and domestic release. Prior to Essential, Padilla served as the Marketing Manager for Arclight Films.

Padilla began his career in entertainment at The S. Hirsch Company, working as a Los Angeles based representative for several international distribution companies, assisting them with product acquisition. He is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego where he received his Bachelors of Science in Cultural Anthropology. 


At DDI Mr. Preschutti duties include the review of all new potential film packages, determining, and implementing  finance strategy including budgeting, and modeling the strike price strategy of the potential films to be included in the DDI slate of motion pictures. Responsibilities include managing the internal DDI film debt and equity participation process, as well as the syndication of finance for each motion picture produced or distributed at DDI.

Originally from State College, Pennsylvania, Stanley Preschutti has over 7 years of entertainment experience in developing, financing and producing content for film. Mr. Preschutti is an active representative for the international film financier, and production company M-Star International Media Group. Mr. Preschutti has deep experience in the negotiation, structure, and financing production and distribution contracts for independent motion pictures, and utilizes various finance tools and structures to mitigate short term risk. Prior to joining DDI, Mr. Preschutti was the CEO of Blue Hemisphere 3D a company which converted motion pictures for the 3D market. While at Blue Hemisphere he managed a team of 20 stereoscopic compositors, editors, post production processes, sales and marketing and distribution teams, where he negotiated multiple output contracts with major online distribution companies that were ramping up their 3D libraries. Mr. Preschutti has held securities licenses series 7, and series 63 from FINRA the Financial Regulatory Authority of the United States.

While Mr. Preschutti enjoys Toronto, he resides in Los Angeles, CA.
